Oh boy do I have a special treat for the lovely people here in the APW universe! Come check out when the Vamp sits down with APW GM Jack Blaze!!!! I could not be more honored to have this opportunity to sit down with the boss himself and go over things such as the history of APW and his ongoing feud with Tyson Storm.
Tommy: “Season 2 of APW has been one for the record books, what’s the biggest difference from season one?”
Blaze: “Well l, it’s gotta be the dedication from the seasons talent. They are constantly training not only on in ring work but also on their in character promos. They not only show up early but stay late and make it to shows even when they aren’t scheduled to appear. Last year we had guys walk in, lose a match and then quit answering the phone. So this has been a great refresher.”
Tommy: “I will say, being a part of something this amazing myself has been a great experience and I couldn’t be happier to see how much things have changed for APW. The landscape of APW has changed drastically since, I myself, have joined…how does Jack Blaze keep up?”
Blaze: “I keep in contact with the majority of the talent on a daily basis. The landscape definitely changes day to day. Sometimes hour to hour but I’ve been in this business long enough to know what the fans want to see. It’s a tough job some days but for the most part, the roster is quick to adapt and give us a show packed full of memories.”
Tommy: “I couldn’t imagine how full your plate must be some days; all I have to say is I am grateful for your dedication to this! You and Tyson Storm have been at it awhile now….it’s been a feud for the ages, do you think Sunday ends it?”
Blaze: “The only thing ending Sunday is Storms false fantasies of beating me in any capacity.”
Tommy: “Speaking of Storm, you guys have gone to great lengths to best one another….and this week you’ve been training with Hellspawn, what have you done differently this time around?”
Blaze: “Storm got lucky when I slipped on that ladder and grabbed a briefcase that I had already unhooked. Anyone can grab a briefcase, but no one is gonna out pin me in a match. I visited Hellspawn to learn a couple new moves as he has experience in the cell. Believe it or not, this will be my first Hell in a Cell match and I damn sure plan on making a statement to anyone thinking about challenging me in an another one.”
Tommy: “Yeah, I mean Hellspawn would be who I would turn too shall I have to take part in such a match, say this is it for Storm, what does Mr. Blaze himself focus on next?”
Blaze: “Storms pass through. They try to destroy you and everyone in their path. Tyson Storm has criticized, complained and outright bitched about everything I’ve done this season. But just like all Storms, this one will pass through and I’ll weather it, I’ll still be standing tall after he dissipates. I do have some unfinished business with the other Tyson on our roster. If you recall, he broke into my office and stole my wife’s wrestling gear, put it on and ruined it. She’s had that gear her whole career and it’s time he pays for it.”
Tommy: “Oh I most definitely remember that…and let me tell you it was a sight for sore eyes! Well, Mr. Blaze, as much as I could sit here all day with the genius of APW…we have unfortunately ran out of time. I am honored to have gotten this chance, and I cannot wait until the next time we get to sit down together!”
