Welcome one and all to Interview with The Vampire, where I sit down with a very special guest in Kashious. As someone who knows all too well about being “Etched in Stone”, there is no denying that this man here is also got his own markings in stone, as the first triple champ here in APW history
Tommy: “Kashious, it’s an honor to get to sit down with someone else Etched in Stone…being the first ever APW triple champ, how does it feel?”
Kashious: “First off I wanna thank you Tommy for taking the time to talk to me. I’ve been a fan of the show for a while now. Being triple champion, it honestly feels great to make history here in APW is something I could have never dreamed of. It feels like I am on top of the world. But with that comes a lot of hate but I am ready for whatever comes with it.”
Tommy: “Well, I must admit that I truly appreciate the love Kash, I know my man got some money, may I ask how you came into it?”
Kashious: “Most people assume I came from money, that is just simply not true, I come from the gritty streets of Flint, Michigan where nothing is given to you, and everything is earned. I grew up in the area where we couldn’t drink the water. You couldn’t even go outside; we were deemed the number one most dangerous city in America. So instead of falling into the streets I made a name for myself, I grinded and become a 4x state all-sports champion. This led to a scholarship at Michigan State. I studied finance and business. After I graduated, I took everything I had left, went and maxed out all my cards took out the biggest loan I could. I, then, opened my first car dealership and have been locked in ever since. Since then, I’ve been able to open up all types of business while living out my dream of being a pro wrestler.”
Tommy: “That is a fantastic story…I have been around a long, long time, and I know things are not always easy here in America. So, I am happy to hear a legit success story. Lakewood family, they kind of screwed you over with the money donated to them, is there a plan to get that back? Whether it be legally or….other means?”
Kashious: “The Lakewood family yeah don’t get me started on them, they took some money from my investments and used it for personal gain. Right now, you can see I am focused on making Stampede one of the best shows I can. But when I get some free time, I’ll definitely be making a visit it to Lakewood.”
Tommy: “Yeah, you can’t just swipe that type of money from someone…and not pay the piper. You and Bad News came together and formed this super tag team, however…you guys didn’t always see eye to eye, what changed all of that?”
Kashious: “Yeah me and Bad News had some differences but what do you expect he’s an alpha male and I am an alpha male. And we both like to fight. I think after that cage match me and Bad News both realized were cut from the same cloth. And after Jack Leigh and Benjamin Bennett just quitting on me out of nowhere, I know there was only one man I could trust, someone I knew who would give it their all. and that’s Bad MF News. Since that day he’s become my brother, he taught me things and I’ve told him things that have only elevated us both to the next level. I am sure one day me and Bad News will have that third match, but it’ll be purely out of respect. Because ever since we formed the high rollers we have been absolutely dominating.”
Tommy: “Clearly the sky is the limit champ, but what does the Billion Dollar Beast have next on his agenda?”
Kashious: “Right now I am focused on elevating Stampede and the upcoming talent that Stampede is signing. I have three belts right now, so every week I am defending a title. I think when it’s all set and done with this run theirs only one belt left for me to get on stampede and that’s the Stampede World Heavyweight Championship. I wanna hold all the gold on the shows and take some time off. I am young and have a lot more time left. But I do wanna start a family so, we will have to see what happens when it’s all said and done.”
Tommy: “Well, there you have it folks…APW’s first ever triple champion! I’d hate to say is Kashious, but I think we are out of time already, I want to personally thank you for sitting down with me tonight!”
