Welcome to the first edition of Spot Caller, a quick summary of news from the week. Here in APW, we live in an ever changing world at a high octane speed! So as my first official editorial since being named reporter, I decided we could use a new form of news coverage. This entry, along with the others will just be a short, quick read for those who may have missed the exciting things that have happened in past days here in our volatile world. On Lakewood we got to witness a multitude of high caliber matches and scenarios play out, but notably we saw a main event between Jack Blaze and Yours truly, The Vamp Tommy Vachon against Hitt Squad to settle all that crazy Shadow Syndicate business and get Wes released from jail. Hitt Squad came out on top via count out. We also saw James Marshall retain his US title and leadership of The Way, in which he decided he didn’t even want!! Seeing as to how The Way is leading in the games, it is going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Stan…Lakewood family, need I say more? Oh, but of course, Hardcore Hicks returned to attack Stan after his match!?!?!? Next week Angelina Knight will be taking on Mizz Dabnus in a Cagematch for the Lakewood Womens championship due to her defeating her this week…can not personally wait to see this myself…oh and how about Carmelo Grimm’s Debut??? He filled Wes’ shoes like he’s been there all along. Speaking of Wes, the deranged lunatic wasted no time at all after his release to attack the injured Tyson Marshall in the backstage area! Knocking Tyson out with Chaos Kick.
Alpha Gen was on fire too! For a new show, its about as hot as it gets!! The talent brought in over the last few weeks have most definitely shown they have what it takes to be Alphas. The undrafted Ace Grimm (of some relation…)not only competed twice, but won both matches and one being for the TV title that “The Lock” Lawrence Cretchmen had just finished a match retaining against Daniel Johnson. Can anyone stop Ace as of late?? We also got to see the debut of Wes Grimms wife, Violet Grimm, who took her opponent Morgan Mercer to the limit in an impressive fashion, notating she will be joining the roster on Lakewood sending Morgan to Stampede. Fun fact, this was the debut of women’s wrestling on Alpha Gen as well. The impressive Walker Davidson and Caleb Gomez battled it out seeing Davidson coming out on top. And The “Top Dog” Jack Leigh took on Snider in what appeared to be a battle of behemoths, seeing Snider come out on Top. Kabuki Dragon continues to look impressive as he toppled one half of APA, The Destroyer by countout. Bad News returns to the ring!!! He defeated the mountain of a man in Larry Winters. Ultimo Diablo made light work of Nick Angel, he also continues down an impressive path on Alpha Gen. And last but not least, We got to see Bullet Club members Lil Devil and Isaac Frost take on Stampede World Champ Ryan Black and The Natural in tag team action seeing Frost pin his future stablemates opponent in Ryan Black.
Whew…what a crazy couple of days here in APW!! Until next time folks, stay on top…stay ALPHA!!
Yeah this is def needed especially cause i miss alpha gen….also very well written.
